About Me { redith }

HELLO!
          My name is Meredith but my dear friends call me Mere!

{ ACCESSORIES }
 Ever since I can remember I have loved accessories. From hair bows, rings, to what color my nails are, it's all a must! I don't know if it's because I have a stylish mother or because I find matching, adding, adorning somewhat creative. So when I started hand making my own accessories, people wanted to know where I bought it. Something so wonderful happens when I get to share that I wear handmade. It inspired me to want that handmade, unique accessory for others.

I have always believed that accessories prove- that what I am wearing goes together.

A CAUSE }
There are so many amazing causes out there. Amazing people helping amazing people. It really bugged me that I had no grand cause behind my little business.I have a heart for people, creativity, collaboration; then it hit me. It took me sometime to realize that a cause isn't contained to a box. So I decided that I want people to know what they are supporting by purchasing my handmade items, what my 'cause' is.

      You are supporting me and my ministry with ROCKHARBOR Church(part time ministry)
 -but also-
 The way I use my time:
- Teaching an art workshop with the non-profit Solidarity for kids, 4th grade - 6th grade
- Collaborating with other artisans- providing partnerships and providing places to sell
- Joining with other non-profit businesses
- Working with families by either donating or 'percent of proceeds go to' their adoptions

My hope is to not stop here but grow in the ways I can give back with my time, talents and finances. It is good for you to know exactly what happens when you purchase {Made by Mere}.

{ CREATIVITY }
I am absolutely in awe of God's creativity, the beauty He has made. It inspires me. Nature, the beauty in a sunflower, the intricate design of ocean life. People, the way we love, create, make ugly/simple things into astounding pieces of art. I cannot live without creativity being a part of what I make, how I design my pieces, and work with the people around me. I want to be an advocate for opening eyes to how creative God is and the ways we get to respond. Inspiration and possibility are key to my dreams.
